Spring updates

I hope everyone is having a great 2023 so far! It has been quite awhile since I have sent out a newsletter, and I'm sorry! I have been plugging along teaching online and trying to find ways to bring self care to more people. And as such, we have some additional things happening which I'm excited to share with all of you!

I am still teaching online via zoom, through the Prescott School. On Monday nights at 8:30 PM, we have Yoga Reset, which is guided relaxation that is meant to help you shut off your mental chatter so you can fall asleep. If you haven't tried this class yet, you can find one of my recordings and see if it is right for you!

On Wednesday's at 7:30 PM I teach Yin Yoga & Chill which is also through the Prescott School online. This is a hybrid Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga class. Both types of yoga are meant to help us release tension from the week, and its a great way to help settle the mind and body at the end of a busy day.

Beginning in March, I will also be teaching Yin Yoga in person at the Twomey Center! This class will be on Monday night's at 6:30 PM during the month of March. Yin Yoga is a great practice to help increase flexibility and mobility. It's a great complement to any traditional cardio, or if you are just terrible at stretching. Very beginner friendly, as all postures are done seated or laying down. For more information, just shoot me an email.

In April, I'm excited to teach my first ever Yoga for Kids class! This class will be held at Florence Roche gym right after school and is geared towards elementary schoolers. For more information, please email me.

Also in April, I am super excited about bringing back meditation classes. I'm super passionate about meditation, and excited to share this practice with everyone. This will be held right after Yoga for Kids at the Florence Roche Gym at 4:30 PM. For more information, please email me.

Lastly, I have some exciting news about the website.

I've always had this grand idea of having our classes recorded so our monthly members always had access to the classes, so if for some reason life got in the way and you couldn't attend, you could watch it later.  I think its time to take that leap!

So moving forward, I will have our weekly classes, plus some extra offerings, like our morning yoga classes, meditations, and other offerings available to members only on my website.

I'm continuing to try and keep our membership affordable, because I really believe that cost shouldn't stop people from practicing self care. I would love to support you in your journey, if you have things you are interested in, I'd love to hear about it!
